You Know You’re Capable. Consistency Still Feels Hard.

ADHD can create a frustrating gap between what you know you need to do and what you can consistently follow through on. You may understand the assignment, the deadline, the conversation, the routine, or the plan — and still struggle to start, finish, respond, organize, or stay connected.

This is not about being lazy or making excuses. It is about understanding the patterns that keep showing up and learning how to respond with more support, self-awareness, and practical coping.

ADHD Can Affect More Than Focus

ADHD does not only affect assignments, calendars, or deadlines. It can also affect confidence, relationships, communication, emotional regulation, avoidance, self-trust, and the way you see yourself.

You may feel like you are always catching up. You may forget to respond, then feel too embarrassed to reply late. You may start a new system, stop using it, and feel frustrated with yourself all over again. You may care deeply and still feel misunderstood.

Focused & Connected is designed for young adults who want space to understand those patterns without shame.

This Is Not Another Planner, App, or Lecture About Time Management

Planners, apps, reminders, and productivity tips can help — but they do not always address the emotional and relational parts of ADHD.

This group goes beyond basic advice. It gives young adults a clinician-led space to talk with others who understand, notice patterns in real time, practice accountability, explore emotional regulation, and build practical coping strategies that fit real life.

Focused & Connected: A Young Adult ADHD Group for Ages 18–25

Focused & Connected is a small telehealth group for young adults navigating ADHD-related challenges during school, work, relationships, and the transition into independence.

The group is designed to help participants feel less alone, better understand how ADHD shows up in daily life, and practice more workable ways of managing emotions, communication, accountability, avoidance, and follow-through.

You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. If the group sounds like the kind of support you are looking for, you can request details and ask whether it may be a good fit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this therapy or just a support group?

Focused & Connected is a clinician-led telehealth process group. It includes support, connection, guided discussion, self-reflection, interpersonal feedback, and practical coping. It is more structured than a peer-only group, but it is not a substitute for emergency care or a higher level of treatment when needed.

Do I need a formal ADHD diagnosis to participate?

No. The group is open to young adults ages 18–25 who would like to participate and who feel the group may fit their needs. You can contact our team to ask questions before joining.

What if I already have therapy or medication?

This group can complement existing support by adding peer connection, group feedback, emotional support, accountability, and practical coping conversations.

What if I’m nervous about joining a group?

That is understandable. Many people feel unsure before joining a group. Focused & Connected is designed to be small, guided, supportive, and age-specific.
